TOGETHER WE MAKE A BETTER WORLD

Our aims and purposes are:

  • to help people suffering from Leukaemia and other blood related disease and also assist support their families

  • to promote and assist other organisations in the research of finding a cure for Leukaemia

  • to work with and assist other organisations engaged in similar activities both in Australia and abroad

  • to provide accommodation and daily care whilst an out-patient in Australia to overseas patients suffering from Leukaemia and other blood related diseases.

A Committee elected by its members at the Annual General Meeting manages the Foundation. The Management Committee’s members are all unpaid volunteers who give their time, talent and expertise to help promote the aims and purposes of the Foundation. 

The Foundation has over seventy families as members and approximately one hundred and fifty volunteers who also promote and support the organisation with its fundraising activities. Our main source of income is through fundraising activities such as raffles, chocolate drives, dances, funfair, snow trips  and small donations from individual and businesses.
